2019 PRE-SEASON SCHEDULE

With Xmas and New Years done and dusted, training for our Centenary Season has arrived!! Newly appointed 1st Grade Coach David Zwart will kick-off skills training @ 7pm this Thursday 17th January at Soldiers Memorial Park, Tryon Road, East Lindfield (touch footy from 6:30pm on the bottom oval).

Commencing Thursday 31st January at 6.30pm, we then have J-Train Athletic Performance starting our official pre-season schedule 2 nights per weeks (Tues & Thurs). J-Train is Sydney’s premier strength and conditioning (S&C) company providing training to some of Sydney’s most elite clubs including the Manly Marlins, North Harbour Rays, Mosman Whales and now they are proud to welcome Lindfield Rugby to the family. They will work closely with our Club to provide a professional S&C program keeping us injury free, improving our on-field performances and building a winning culture.

The 2019 season will be so huge, the rumour mill is in overdrive that even Tim Curtin will make an appearance at pre-season to lose a well-cultivated festive paunch and lock-down a bench spot in 4th Grade! So, spread the word and bring your mates to training as it promises to be an awesome year, on and off the field.

Vale Fred Judson

Published January 6, 2019

It is with a heavy heart that we acknowledge the passing of another Club stalwart, former Club Captain and Life Member Fred Judson. Fred was a larger than life character who was associated with the Club for over 50 years as a player, coach, official and in later years an avid and often vocal spectator.

Many past players remember that their first experience at Lindfield was to be welcomed by Fred when they first arrived at the Club. His contribution and service to the Club were recognised when he was made a Life Member, one of only 10 in the 100 year history of Lindfield Rugby.

Our heartfelt condolences go out to his family and friends during this difficult time. Fred will be missed but never forgotten, may his soul rest in peace.
